TAFE Short Courses - Sustainable Home Seminar

Home builders and renovators can continue the exploration of sustainable building design as showcased in the Houses of the Future exhibition. Enrol in the 'Sustainable Homes' seminar conducted by TAFE NSW - South Western Sydney Institute.
Each seminar will especially feature one of the six innovative 'Houses of the Future', presented and fully explained by one of its creators. This includes Tom Davies (timber house), Sara Bickford (steel house), Tone Wheeler (clay house), Peter Poulet (concrete house), James Muir (glass house) and Colin James (cardboard house). Participants will enjoy a guided tour of each house, followed by question and answer session.

SBIC Courses
Owner Building and Sustainable Building Courses
Home builders and renovators can significantly increase their knowledge by attending the Owner Building or Sustainable building courses conducted by the Sydney Building Information Centre. If you need a permit to build, as their Owner Building courses are approved by the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) , having attended you will obtain a course certificate and can apply for your permit at your closest OFT office. Owner Building courses are conducted by the Sydney Building Information Centre in 44 regional locations in NSW.
